our new 2025 modules
Article by Nicolas Lefèvre
This second week of vacation, marked by the return of the sun, is a boon for the Chlorophylle Park in Dochamps. The public is discovering the 2.5 kilometers of walking trails offered there, as well as the four new fun and educational modules that recently opened.
A giant hedgehog has invaded part of the nine hectares covered by Chlorophylle Park. This playground, tested and approved by children only a few days ago, is one of the new features presented by Chlorophylle Park. " You can get inside, go down the slide, and take a little adventure trail ," explains Marie Manguette, site director. " You can also discover its life cycle through various small signs and other information inside the shed and along the trail ."
Cave-dwelling animals in the spotlight
Learning while having fun is the motto of Chlorophylle Park, which welcomes around 60,000 visitors a year. One of the new modules focuses on cave-dwelling animals. Some, illustrated by Emilie Vanvolsem, are well-known, others less so.
" For example, the owl, the bat, and the marten ," continues Marie Manguette. " We also used a tree trunk which, when you lift the panels, reveals the carpenter ant, the millipede, or the bark beetle ."
